Classroom disruption

Classroom disruption and disciplinary behaviour course for participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina

The twelve pedagogical advisors from the Pedagogical Institute in Zenica and the Pedagogical Institute of the Bosnian Canton of Goražde took part in an online course of 120 hours (8 weeks) from 31.10.2022 to 21.12.2022, which took place at our institute in Groß-Gerau.
Various methods and desirable responses to disruptive student behaviour were discussed during the course. The counsellors learned about practical examples, how to effectively resolve misunderstandings, how to use different communication models, how to prevent and intervene in the event of disruptions in the classroom, and how to analyse cases.
The education counsellor training was carried out as part of the "Vocational Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina" project implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH.
The training was informative and practice-oriented, since the participants could work in groups and individually on different film scenes and tasks.
At the end there was very positive feedback from the participants and the desire to continue such a course.
